For construction workers on bridges, docks, piers, dams and other jobs over or near water: life jackets and buoyant work vests, inspecting them before and after use, ring buoys and the lifesaving skiff.

This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1926.106. It is not an OSHA card or license and it is not water rescue or boat operator training. Employers must provide any required site-specific training, including their rescue procedures and the use of the lifesaving skiff and ring buoys on the job.
