In plain words:

Logging employers must provide at no cost, and ensure employees wear, eye protection meeting subpart I where there is potential for eye injury from falling or flying objects, and face protection meeting subpart I where there is potential for facial injury, such as operating a chipper. Logger-type mesh screens may be worn for chain-saw operations and yarding, and separate eye protection is not needed when face protection covers both eyes and face.
