Power Line Work: Grounding and Protective Equipment
Learn what the construction standard requires for protective grounding of power lines and for fall protection on poles and towers, from the point of view of the qualified employee doing the work.
This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1926.962 and 1926.954(b)(3). It is not an OSHA card or license, it does not make anyone a qualified employee, and it does not by itself meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1926.950(b). Your employer must still train employees as that paragraph requires, including ensuring that employees are proficient in climbing and the use of fall protection under 29 CFR 1926.950(b)(7).
