- 4 modules
- 13 pages
- about 20 minutes
For the ironworker on a steel erection crew: know the fall protection heights for general work, connecting and controlled decking zones, stay out from under suspended loads, do not release a beam from the hoisting line before it is bolted, and keep openings and loose items from becoming the next accident.
What this certificate covers
This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1926.753, 1926.754, 1926.756, 1926.759 and 1926.760. It is not an OSHA card or license, and it does not by itself meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1926.761. Your employer must still train each employee exposed to a fall hazard under a training program covering the areas listed in 1926.761(b), provide the special training in 1926.761(c) to each connector, to each employee working in a controlled decking zone, and to each employee who performs multiple lift rigging, and have this training provided by a qualified person.
