Learn what a driver, magazine keeper or blaster needs to recognize when explosives are hauled on the surface, moved underground, or stored: the vehicle rules, what may not travel together, and storage distances.
What this certificate covers
This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1926.902, 1926.903 and 1926.904. It is not an OSHA card or license. It does not by itself meet the training requirement of 29 CFR 1926.902(i): the driver of each vehicle used for transportation of explosives must still be trained in the use of the extinguisher on that vehicle. Sections 1926.903 and 1926.904 contain no training requirement; the driver must also be a licensed driver who is physically fit and familiar with the local, State, and Federal regulation governing the transportation of explosives (1926.902(b)).
