Electrical Safety-Related Work Practices for Workers
For general industry workers who work on, near or with electrical equipment but are not qualified persons: know your limits, treat unlocked parts as live, keep away from overhead lines, work safely near exposed parts, and use the right protection and warnings.
This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1910.331–1910.335. It is not an OSHA card or license, it does not make you a qualified person, and it does not by itself meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.332. Your employer must still train you, by classroom or on-the-job training matched to the risk to you, in the safety-related work practices that pertain to your job assignment and in any other electrically related safety practices necessary for your safety.
