What this certificate covers

These sections contain no training requirement of their own, and this course does not cover 1926.96, 1926.97, 1926.103, 1926.104 or 1926.105. Your employer must still provide the protective equipment these sections require, ensure that all personal protective equipment is of safe design and construction for the work to be performed and is selected to ensure that it properly fits each affected employee (1926.95(c)), ensure that you use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards (1926.102(a)(1)), and have ear protective devices inserted in the ear fitted or determined individually by competent persons (1926.101(b)).
