Learn what a pile driving or site clearing crew member needs to recognize: signals and clear zones around the driver, the protections a pile rig must have, and the plant and rollover protections required for site clearing.
What this certificate covers
This certificate records completion of awareness training based on OSHA 29 CFR 1926.603(a)(3) through (a)(12) and 1926.603(c), and 29 CFR 1926.604(a). It is not an OSHA card or license, and it does not by itself meet the instruction requirement of 29 CFR 1926.604(a)(1). Your employer must still protect employees engaged in site clearing from hazards of irritant and toxic plants and suitably instruct them in the first aid treatment available. 29 CFR 1926.603 has no training paragraph; your employer must still provide the pile driving equipment protections and follow the work practices it requires.
